Designed for use in commercial, industrial and institutional facilities, Decolam
sanitary partitions are ideally suited to high-humidity environments such as
swimming pools or high-vandalism areas such as prisons, schools or high-traffic
public areas.
Three
options are available to suit all needs and budgets.

OPTION
A
All partition components (pilasters, door and separator) are made of 3⁄4
inch (19 mm) solid laminate. Ideally suited for facilities that clean areas by
hosing them down and for showers and other wet areas.
OPTION
B
Pilasters and doors are made of 3⁄4-inch (19 mm) solid laminate while
panels are manufactured of laminated particle board and edged with solid laminate.
OPTION
C
Pilasters are made of 3⁄4-inch (19 mm) solid laminate while laminated
particle board is used for the doors and panels, which are edged with solid laminate.
NOTE:
Panels in all options come in a wide variety of colors, patterns
and finishes. Scratch- and graffiti-resistant, they are easy to
assemble and maintain. Our standard partitions meet NFPA, Class
B and UBC Class II fire standards. Fire-resistant partitions are
available on special order.

CHOOSE

HEAD-RAIL
BRACED
This
type of partition is the most widely used. It works well
in both newly constructed and renovated buildings. The
head rail provides a sturdy, practical structure that
is ideal for heavy-use locations like schools and public
places.
This
type of partition is necessary in locations that are
very heavily used and where installation of a head-rail
is not recommended. Prison and hospitals (psychiatric
wings) are good examples. A solid structure from floor
to ceiling is required.
This
type of partition is more widely used in public places
such as office buildings. It keeps the floor completely
free of obstructions, which enables easy cleaning of
floors. Requires a ceiling mount system (see attachment
details, two types available).
This
type of partition is ideal for locations where the ceilings
are non-standard (too high or too low). It is also sometimes
preferred because of its contemporary look. A cement
floor at least 2” thick is required.
This
type of partition is exclusive to Decolam. It keeps both
the floor and the ceiling obstruction free. A structural
beam that crosses the room and is normally supported
on cement blocks must be installed, however.

DECOLAM
is proud to introduce a new and improved version of its partition
doors for washrooms, bank cubicles, polling booths, fitting rooms,
and showers. The new partition features the PRIVACY PROTECTOR—a
strip of black polypropylene felt embedded on both sides of the
partition door. This innovation completely eliminates any undesirable
openings to allow for total privacy.
The Privacy
Protector is now available with all DECOLAM washroom partition
doors on request.
