Arborite Laboratory Grade Solid Phenolic Core panels are a special category of decorative and homogeneous composite panels. They are engineered to resist a variety of acids, solvents, general reagents and cleaning agents.
SURFACE TEXTURES
Arborite Laboratory Grade Solid Phenolic Core panels are available in two surfaces textures:
Cashmere
A subtle, matte texture with a slight sheen.
Diamond
A fine beaded texture which minimizes smudges, finger marks and offers optimum scratch resistance.

For years, Arborite Laboratory Grade Solid Phenolic Core panels have been manufactured solely in black according to industry standards. Arborite, a division of Premark Canada Inc. has built their worldwide reputation on this black chemical resistant surface and continues to do so.
However, thanks to advanced technology, Arborite Laboratory Grade Solid Phenolic Core panels are only limited by the designer's imagination. There are over 200 solid colors, patterns and wood grains available to appease the most discriminating design requirements; no longer is the designer restricted to black.
Note that due to the special resins used to manufacture our Arborite Laboratory Grade Solid Phenolic Core panels, a slight color differentiation may be noticed when compared to our regular Arborite Classic Solid Phenolic Core panels.
ARBORITE CLASSIC SOLID PHENOLIC CORE PANELS
Arborite Classic Solid Phenolic Core panels represent a category of thick, self-supporting homogeneous panels finished with a tough wear resistant melamine surface on both sides. They are often used for laboratory applications and casework where less harmful acids and other chemical products are used. The test results should dictate which product is best suited for your application.

Based on the recovered material content in our kraft papers, Arborite's Solid Phenolic Core panels contain more than 20% recovered material by weight.
Only renewable forest products are used in Arborite's Solid Phenolic Core panels. They contain no heavy metals, rain forest timbers nor tropical hardwoods.
